Abstract

This one day training programme / workshop will include a number of talks on heritage presentation and preservation by experts from around Europe. Topics will include archaeological web resources, visualisation techniques, issues relating to preserving complex archaeological data for the future and a hands on introduction to virtual reality hardware and display technologies. The opportunities created by these new technologies for those involved in archaeology teaching and learning in higher education will be highlighted.

Who should attend this workshop?

This workshop will be of interest to archaeologists, especially those in the higher education sector, people involved with the integration of heritage and digital technologies and the presentation of heritage sites and museums.
