Background
Qais is currently a PhD candidate in computer Science at the University
of Hull. His main research interests include artificial intelligence,
machine vision and medical imaging. He currently holds a BSc in
Computer Science from Princess Sumaya University for Technology
(PSUT) in Jordan since 1999.
Research Interests
He is currently researching a new generic framework for robust intelligent
image segmentation. This method combines active contour models (snakes)
and multi-agent technologies. It will result in a customizable system
which can be easily applied to different medical problems.
