Background
Dr Gordon is a lecturer in Computer Science at the University of
Hull. He joined the University in 1994 as a research assistant in
mathematics, and later worked as an IT advisor in the Mathematics
department, until 2000 when he joined the department of Computer
Science as a lecturer. He holds a BSc in joint Computer Science
and Mathematics, and a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics, as well
as a Higher Education Teaching Certificate. Dr Gordon is a University
Teaching Fellow and a member of the national Higher Education Academy.
