Background
I am currently an Msc research student in the Department of Computer
Science at the University of Hull and a final year engineering student
in IIE (Institut d'Informatique d'Entreprise, France), a computer
science engineering school. I have a wide range of interests in
computer science, from system programming to compiler theory. I
am a keen user of free software and a command-line addict.
Research Interests
I am researching ways to improve flow visualization (in terms of
efficiency and ease of user) using haptic devices. The equipment
platform for this research makes use of a Reachin Display, formed
of a 6 DOF Phantom haptic stylus and a stereo vision system with
VR glasses and a mirror to colocate haptics and graphics. |
