Research Interests

• Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Immersive Collaborative Systems
• Medical research focused on Oncology and Cardiology
• Current PhD project aims to create a training tool for Minimally Invasive Surgery for Atrial Fibrillation Ablation using accurate 4D patient specific heart models which are able to “load” patient specific pathology. Enough flexibility is to be provided to develop the tool for other diseases and procedures as CABG, congenital diseases, etc.
• MSc project was about a simulation of technology used for radiotherapy for cancer treatment. A currently ongoing project on the CS Department.
